The Human Guinea Pigs
If we don’t remember history, it will be repeated again. People make mistakes, but it is important to learn from those mistakes. We had an awful day last week when we were listening to a presentation. The presentation was called “Human Guinea Pigs”, and it shows us that evil scientists were sinful to use humans for the experiments. History can’t be changed, but we can’t straggle in history either. We should take lessons and moving on.
The speech was impressive, and it taught me a lot. It was about the history that took place in Germany during WWII. Nazi scientists forced Jewish people to be samples for their experiments because they thought people only with blond hair and blue eyes deserve to live. The same tragedies happened in China too. Japan’s 731 Unit persecuted poor non-armed Chinese civilians, and traded them as animals. The genocide caused a lot of serious consequences after WWII.
Dishonesty becomes the most serious problem after the WWII. I have read a book named The Immoral Life of Henrietta Lacks. In the book, scientists believed that they were the experts in the biologic area. This idea encouraged them to become more arrogant. That was the reason why they took cells from Henrietta Lacks without her permission. The behavior was same as the Nazi and Japanese scientists. However, the purpose of the scientists in this book is for the future of the human race, and it was much better if we compare to the Nazi or 731 Unite.
Things were passed and we must carry on. I know that it is tough to forgive the sin what they have down before. However, I am not saying that we should forget this part of the history. We should learn something though this history instead. As we can see that world became more peaceful after WWII, and people are changing their mind to think. Most people more likely prefer the idea of peaceful coexistence. Therefore, we have to be cautioned all the time to prevent the tragedy happen again.
By persevering though all this sadness, we become stauncher. We can only learn things when we overcome challenges. For the future, I think the human race is facing the new challenge but we the people will never give up, and we will never forget to learn from our mistake. In conclusion, *we have to try anything to make up for our failures in the past and be sure that will never happen again in the future.

Bollah said individualism causes a small number of people to succeed. I disagree with this. Individualism causes competition. If someone wants to succeed, he has to keep working until he achieves the goal. I think the equal individual right doesn’t mean that you can get job for just give it a shot, it means people have equal right to find a job, but the point is how much have you spent. The people who never give up until the end are the best that is the reason why I disagree with him. You get what your desire; it not only means bad thing. For example, a man who pays a lot, not only the money but his blood, will get payback eventually. That is the American Dream—as long as you work, you get goods.
“There isn’t such thing as luck.” I hardly think so because there are many examples that show us luck exist, but how to treat luck is most important thing. Some people hold the luck tight and that make him succeed, I can list many people such as Bill Gates, he forded the Microsoft Company and became the richest man in the world. If you keep thinking that you can win without paying, it’s not the American dream, it’s daydreaming.
